Kitchen Manager

This role manages the culinary operations of Bazaar San Marcos. We are looking for an individual who can use their culinary and food expertise in combination with savvy and calculated business tactics to drive our establishments to be high functioning and ever evolving allowing us to serve our guests and each other with unsurpassed standards

Salary: $55k annually

What To Expect: Present on a day to day basis at restaurant Working side by side with culinary teams Daily monitoring of culinary teams to be highly efficient Strong technique and cooking ability Ability to operate a clean and precise working environment and oversee others to do the same Ability to maintain food cost controls through inventory and portion control  Knowledge of Department of Health protocols Ability to multitask with a calm demeanor Hospitable nature and ability to maintain high levels of service 
What You Should Have: 3+ years in a Kitchen Management role A bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent work experience Extremely approachable in all challenging situations that may arise Ability to use situational leadership with ease, moving from direct to supportive Always be able to seek understanding before judgment on any situation
