Kitchen Assistant - McCall Field CampusLocation: McCallPay Range: $16.00 per hour or higher depending on experience and education
Job seniority: entry level
Responsibilities
• Planning and preparing meals for guests• Supervising student employees during meal service• Supporting relationships with local food producers• Educating guests about nutrition and sustainability initiatives
Requirements
• Working in a team• 6 months experience in institutional kitchens, restaurant kitchens, or other food service• Experience cooking for large groups• Culinary Training• Experience with dietary restrictions and food allergies• Experience with sustainable food systems and waste management• Experience with outdoor and/or science education for children• Physical ability to perform repetitive motions, bending, stooping, and standing throughout shift• Ability to lift, carry, and/or otherwise move items weighing up to 50 lbs
