Job summary
This position plans and implements an instructional program and provides related educational services for students in grades K-5.Manages student behavior, assesses and evaluates student achievement, and modifies instructional activities as required.Works under the general supervision of a principal or other designated administrator.

Responsibilities
• Plan and implement an instructional program for students in grades K-5.• Manage student behavior and create a positive learning environment.• Assess and evaluate student achievement.• Modify instructional activities as required.• Carry out student monitoring and control activities.• Serve as a general education, elementary classroom teacher.• May be assigned to reading or technology labs.
Requirements
• Ability to work in person and physically report to work on-site.• Must have a teaching certification or license.• Knowledge and understanding of elementary education principles and best practices.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to effectively manage student behavior.• Experience in assessing and evaluating student achievement.• Flexibility and adaptability in modifying instructional activities.• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.• Experience in a unique teaching specialty is preferred.
