Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Junior Tester for one of our clients. The designated candidate for this position will join a collaborative team environment, providing support and expertise necessary toward the successful delivery of the project deliverables, and provide effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting status/progress. MUST BE A US CITIZEN TOP SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED
WORK TO BE PERFORMED ONSITE IN WASHINGTON, DC (WITH POSSIBLE REMOTE WORK) Provide expertise in the planning, constructing and execution of test scripts.
Apply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team's overall test objectives.
Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable.
T rack defects to closure and keep defect repository up-to-date.
May provide knowledge in business process and system analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts or in translating business process needs into technical requirements. Uses available computer systems resources and personnel to carry out analysis to support management's quest for performance improvement to determine the most useful business solution. May implement a comprehensive management plan for each project and hold regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated in project progress. May determine and document user requirements for business processes and abide by those requirements for future projects. May review and analyze information, forecasts, methods, schedules, systems, processes and procedures. May provide expertise in, but not limited to, Configuration Management, Strategic Planning, Knowledge Management, Business Analysis and Technical Analysis. Bachelor's Degree required. Minimum 3 years of applicable experience. Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written. Must be able to work independently, with minimal oversight.
