Responsibilities
• Post general ledger and journal entries• Maintain work papers and account analysis• Assist with property budgets and expense reimbursement• Assist with tenant billings• Process accounts receivables and payables• Reconcile bank statements and security deposits• Tie GPR to rent roll• Calculate management and bookkeeping fees• Connect with subsidy agencies and track ERAP payments• Cut checks when necessary
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting• 2 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in real estate• Strong analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills• Effective problem-solving skills and sound judgement• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel; experience with Yardi is a plus• Experience with affordable multi-family properties• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Detail-oriented and ability to work independently with minimal supervision• Ability to handle multiple assignments efficiently in a deadline-driven environment
