As our Junior Estimator , you are a valuable part of our success collaborating with the team to deliver "Powerful Solutions".
Some of What You'll Do :
Prioritize safety above all. Interpret plans and specifications to formulate comprehensive cost estimates. Prepare and present bids, attend pre-bid meetings, and conduct site visits. Perform quantity take-offs and construct bid item work breakdown structures. Estimate project costs through data compilation and review with senior management. Facilitate project hand-off meetings and attend project close-out meetings for continuous improvement. Cultivate relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and engineering firms. Associate degree or minimum of 1 year experience of electrical estimating experience with an electrical contractor. Diverse project experience, including commercial, institutional, healthcare, industrial, fire alarm, security systems, and EV systems. Exposure to ConEst software is a plus. Detail-oriented with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Practical knowledge of electrical installation, estimating techniques, and cost control. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Eagerness to learn, grow, and pursue necessary education and certifications for career development. Stable work history is a must. Effective collaboration with both office and field team members. Strong customer service and communication skills(verbal/written). Willingness to travel to branches as needed.
