Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Jr. CI Engineer in El Paso, TX.This Continuous Improvement Jr. Engineer role is a unique opportunity to be part of a team that is being formed from the ground up. This position is responsible for supporting the implementation of Lean concepts to improve productivity, cost out, and reduce the costs of nonconformance.The hourly rate for this position is $25.00 per hour. What you'll do:Support Continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness of manufacturing operations and achieve operational excellence.Facilitate projects or events such as Rapid Improvement Events, VSM, Standardization 5S, and Basic Problem Solving.Collaborate with cross-functional resources to execute projects as required –Operational Excellence, Production, Quality, otherSupport the implementation of Eaton's CI Leadership Management System (Continuous Improvement Framework).Assist in training and development of personnel with regards to CI toolsContribute to plant cost out objectives, particularly through labor productivity improvements.Document Kaizen eventsQualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution required.Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.Bilingual (English/Spanish)No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
