Responsibilities
• Procuring components and maintaining purchase orders• Negotiating pricing and delivery dates with suppliers• Monitoring supplier performance and minimizing excess material exposure• Negotiating fair market pricing and continuously monitoring material pipeline• Identifying and implementing continuous process improvements• Supporting all quoting activity• Preparing quote packages and analyzing quotations• Technical reading ability preferred
Requirements
• Previous experience in a purchasing role, 3 years• Bachelor's degree or prior electronics/JIT/lean manufacturing experience is a plus• Analytical, detail-oriented, problem solver• Organized and task-driven with the ability to multi-task• Creative problem-solving skills
