  Job Description:
?????We are searching for a Budget Support Admin to assist The Finance Office. This department is responsible for managing and controlling the client's financial resources. It includes budgeting, accounting, payroll, travel, procurement, investments, financial, and management reporting for federal (appropriated) and donated/private (non-appropriated) funds. Assists in preparing the annual budget by tracking and providing historical information on prior years, researching questions related to past or anticipated spending, compiling budget submissions, seeking underlying documentation, reviewing submissions for completeness, and making revisions as requested.                                                                                                                                                     Maintains the approved budgets in the budget system, Anaplan, and continually monitors the status of funds. Keep management informed when funds deviate significantly from the spending plan (such as a significant change in operating strategy, exhibited by planned expenditures, or major movements between class/object codes). Alerts senior management if any specific actions are necessary.               Receives vendor invoices (directly from administrative support staff or Office of Finance staff) and ensures timely approval for payment. Prepares each payment request (or reviews payment requests prepared by others), ensuring complete, accurate, and timely documentation of expenses; approvals; accounting codes; purchase order references, if appropriate; and submission to accounts payable.                                                                                                              Required Education, Experience, & Skills: A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related areas One (1) year of work or internship experience in a professional business environment.                 Coursework in finance, accounting, cost accounting, budgeting or law Experience with ERP business systems - Oracle, SAP, Peoplesoft, Anaplan, or HR Data. (preferred)  Excellent writing skills and effective communication, both orally and in writing.                      Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.                                                 Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.        Proficient in the use of Google or Microsoft Suite                                      Aalis Management Consulting is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
