Reporting to the Superintendent - Electrical High Voltage, you will be:Maintaining, troubleshooting, and construction of high voltage power linesPerforming high voltage switching proceduresPerforming all duties according to Rio Tinto Kennecott Utah Copper safety standardsMaintaining and performing various duties within power substationsAccepting on-call assignmentsReceiving instructions from Supervisors related to operating or controlling assignedWhat you'll bringCompleted or currently enrolled in Electrical Power Technology program Utah Class A CDL license (or be willing to acquire this license)Journeyman Lineman certificate or 1 or more years of relevant experienceKnowledge of high voltage power systems, i.e., operation, functions, and terminology of related laws, codes, and regulationsAbility to train and instruct in all aspects of the Line tradeWhat we offerWe are committed to providing our employees with a generous benefits package.
