Scope of License: Perform work within the scope of your journeyman license. Safety: Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Planning: Engage in pre-task planning and implementation. Supervision: Supervise and train apprentices effectively. Performance Evaluation: Conduct performance evaluations of apprentices. Communication: Communicate effectively with the Foreman for project and task details. Compliance: Ensure installations meet NEC and local jurisdiction requirements. Code Adherence: Guarantee that all work complies with NEC, federal, state, county, and local codes and contract documents. Safety: Adhere to all Reynolds Electric, state, and federal safety policies and procedures. Conflict Resolution: Be personable and approachable, with skills for diffusing high-tension situations when they arise. Requirements: To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
Valid Oregon General Journeyman License: With a solid knowledge of state and local codes and the ability to make on-the-job applications. Technical Proficiency: Well-versed in the installation of power systems, including lighting, fire protection, security, and data networks. Fault Identification: Experience in verifying the compliance and functionality of installations and knowledge of identifying and repairing faults in electrical apparatus and circuits. Tools and Equipment: Familiarity with tools and equipment of the trade. Technology Literacy: Basic knowledge of operating cell phones and tablets. Safety Training: OSHA 10 and 30 training is preferred. Driving Record: A clean and safe driving record is required. Skills: Excellent communication, organization, teamwork, resourcefulness, professionalism, results-driven mindset, prudence, and resilience. Why Eugene?
