Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including but not limited to wiring, lighting, and electrical panels. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and develop effective repair strategies. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine wiring layouts and specifications. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Keep up-to-date with the latest electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. Provide guidance and training to apprentice electricians as needed. Qualifications:
Completion of an apprenticeship program and a journeyman electrician license. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a journeyman electrician in a commercial or residential setting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and mobility. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. You should be proficient in:
