We are currently seeking a Java/J2EE Developer (Distributed and multi-threaded system development) to join our team in Dallas, NY, Atlanta, Chicago, Charlotte , Texas (US-TX) , United States (US) .
Job Duties and Responsibilities: Interpret written business requirements, functional requirements, and technical specification documents. Perform application code enhancement for code fixes for existing application/Functions. Perform production research and analysis of existing applications. Identify and communicate technical risks, issues, and changes. Perform defect verification, debugging, testing and deployment. Investigate, analyze and document reported defects. Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates that meet SDLC standards. Drives analysis of problems to understand root cause and provide and implement recommended solutions. Provide input for work estimation and planning. Extensive knowledge and experience in development and implementation of API services, with focus on designing appropriate integration practices with API Governance Standards, API Management, Policies, Framework, and legacy system limitations. Expert knowledge of development frameworks Spring, hibernate with familiarity of Struts 2.x and Relational DB (DB2 and Oracle). Exposure/Experience working in Project involving Payments/ACH domain. The strongest candidates will have a love for problem solving, great partnership and communication skills, deep operational subject matter expertise, and the ability to envision, communicate and execute strategic planning and remediation of issues. Basic Qualifications: Minimum 5-8 years in Java/J2EE technology within past 5 years with extensive experience in distributed and multi-threaded system development. Nice to Have Understanding of Agile SDLC practices is desirable. Experience of industry standard Continuous Integration and automated testing tools.
