Java Developer

Role: Big Data Engineer Java/Scala (128747) Location: Phoenix, AZ (onsite every Tues/Wed/Thus) Duration: 12+ Months W2 Only Note: For Submission and scheduling interview following details are required (LinkedIn; 2 Managerial References (Name, Official email, contact no)) Client is looking for a Junior Software Engineer with 6+ years of experience in Java development and 3-4 years of Spark/Scala development experience. IF CANDIDATES DO NOT HAVE A MINIMUM OF 6 YEARS OF JAVA DEVELOPMENT AND MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS SPARK/SCALA DEVELOPMENT, THEY WILL BE REJECTED. This position is a 12+ month contract requiring the individual to relocate if not located in Phoenix, AZ to work a hybrid schedule (onsite every Tues/Wed/Thus). Candidates MUST work ON W2. There will be 2 rounds of interviews and the first round includes a coding session over WebEx. If the candidate is taking external help or falsifying their experience, they will be immediately rejected
Required Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science Advanced and demonstrable analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills Professional programming experience in an enterprise setting High volume transactional environment experience 6+ years of software development experience as a Java developer 6+ years of software development experience as a Spark/Scala developer Extensive experience in designing and implementing large scale distributed data intensive platforms with high resiliency, availability, and reliability. Desired Skills: NoSQL databases such as MapR DB, HBase, Cassandra Big Data Components/Frameworks such as Hadoop (MapR), Spark, Yarn Big Data querying tools such Hive Experience in Big Query and Cloud computing.
