The Janitor works Forge, Heat Treat, Production and Machine Shop cleaning and maintaining order in all restrooms, offices, stairwells, walking thru ways, halls, break rooms and cafeterias.
Constantly cleans restrooms by means of sweeping, moping and bending to scrub and wipe all surfaces. Regularly refills soap and paper containers, and hand sanitizers Removes trash by lifting and carrying garbage bags from area of responsibility to onsite dumpsters Constantly cleans breakrooms, locker rooms, offices Works with and follows one or more Work Instructions, Basic Rules of Manufacturing, General Dynamics OTS Environmental, and other work related policies Must be able to use sanitizer and bleach products Other duties as assigned Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, must be able to work independently, and be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Work is in a union environment.
