J - Associate Accountant

As an Associate Accountant, you will be responsible for: 
Daily accounting missions  Entering AP and AR invoices.  AP / AR reconciliation.  Maintaining accounting software integrations.  Posting vendors payments.  Bank reconciliation.  Credit card reconciliation.  Assisting with month-end closing preparation.  Maintaining client's database. Maintaining vendor's files up to date.  Posting entries to accounting software utilizing import from other software. Analyze differences and being able to provide recommendations. Posting and reconciling entries from reimbursement tools. Report analyses This job description is dynamic and will evolve based on the applicant's performance and achievements 
Requirements Completion of at least a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance ?  At least 2 years of experience in accounting.?  Experience in an accounting firm would be a plus Expertise in Excel, demonstrating proficiency in advanced functions and data analysis  Ability to respect deadlines and proactively communicate in advance if unable to meet them.  Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while maintaining a strong sense of teamwork.  A commitment to maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.  Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and solve problems effectively  Proficiency in French a plus Benefits Health Insurance paid 100% with HSA and FSA available.  401(k) plan with a 100% match up to 6% after 3 months.  Unlimited paid time-off policy (with a minimum of 2 weeks / year to be taken).  Transportation program (Commuter Benefits, Citi Bike membership offered).  Work from home friendly.  At the offices you will have breakfast in the morning, snacks in the afternoon and Happy Hour on Thursdays (not sure we should have mentioned this one ??)!
