It System Administrator

Manifest Solutions is currently seeking an IT System Administrator for a hybrid position in Roanoke, VA.
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of computer hardware and peripherals.
Install, update and patch operating systems, firmware, and software packages.
Coordinate and perform system reboots.
Maintain accurate and detailed change management records.
Configure network settings and resolve telecommunication issues.
Perform computer system backups and restorations.
Manage and monitor virtual computing environments.
Utilize and modify process documentation.
Support user account access, password management, and problem ticket resolution.
Provide after hour support as needed in an on-call rotation.
Analyze and facilitate resolution of computing environmental issues, such as power and HVAC.
Monitor and engage with the latest industry trends and technology. Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering related field or Associate's degree with 2 years system administration related experience or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years system administration related experience
Minimum of 2 years' System Administration related experience (in addition to any experience identified above) Strong skills in communication, issue resolution, organization, and facilitation are essential. Detailed knowledge and experience is desired in the following areas:
Windows and Linux Operating Systems
HP Server and Workstation Hardware
TCP/IP Networking Remote Computer Management
