Responsibilities
• Ensure operational state of POS software, servers, and network devices• Communicate with store personnel, field management, and corporate users• Provide technical assistance and support over the phone• Troubleshoot and resolve server, telephony, LAN, and WAN issues• Analyze and solve computer problems• Support installation, modification, and repair of computer hardware• Deliver excellent customer service• Provide overflow support for other departments• Assist in technology project implementation
Requirements
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills• Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills• Excellent customer service skills• Ability to think outside-the-box and perform research• Basic technical/computer knowledge• Desire to gain certifications or 2 years of help desk experience• Preferred: Bi-lingual skills, CompTIA Linux + Certification or higher, Cisco CCENT Certification or higher, Associate degree or higher
