PURPOSE STATEMENT: The IT Quality Assurance Engineer I is a crucial player in the QA team, contributing to the quality assurance process for our applications to meet or exceed the envisioned customer experience at the highest standards of quality and reliability. The engineer will support the development of product quality strategies and participate in the development and execution of test plans and analysis of test results.  
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :  
Create and maintain test scripts, plans, and cases for applications.   Demonstrate strong attention to detail.   Participate in thorough testing of applications, including functional, regression, and performance testing.   Work closely with the development team to identify, report, and resolve defects.   Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to code and quality standards.   Actively participate in early-stage testing and defect prevention with the application team.   Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in application quality assurance.   Collaborate with technical teams, business teams, and others to ensure applications meet customer needs and expectations.   OTHER FUNCTIONS: Perform other duties as assigned.   STANDARD EXPECTATIONS :  
Comply with organizational policies, procedures, and performance improvement initiatives.   Maintain confidentiality and adhere to industry policies regarding sensitive information.   Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders.   Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.   Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.   Maintain regular and predictable attendance.   Performs scheduled ad-hoc and emergency tasks within the department's scope.   EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS :  
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in application quality assurance.   Technical skills in testing web-based and mobile applications.   Good communication and collaboration skills.   Analytical and problem-solving skills.   Experience with testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JMeter, and Appium.   Familiarity with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.   LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS :
