General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) provides healthcare information technology services and resources to support the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). As an IT Quality Analyst Advisor, you will provide testing and analysis to support the Medicare Part D Prescription Drug program. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Review and analyze user stories, acceptance criteria, business requirements, system requirements and technical specifications. Develop test scenarios, document test cases, create test data/files, compile test summary documentation and provide work estimation for testing tasks. Ensure that the final product satisfies the requirements and meets end-user expectations. Provide cross functional support to help resolve defects. Make recommendations to improve overall quality. Effectively communicates with management scrum masters on status and critical issues. Collect and communicate findings from test results to internal and external stakeholders. Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology and trends in IT quality assurance. Collaborate with team, resource manager, and scrum masters to identify risks and mitigation activities. Recommend and implement corrective actions as needed to address unplanned technical, functional and resource issues. Ensure new processes are documented and reviewed with team. Participate in agile meetings including the daily scrum, backlog grooming, sprint planning, program increment (PI) and retrospective meetings. Perform system testing in AWS utilizing Databricks Participate in special projects as required. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: B.S. / B.A. Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years of experience with Agile methodology. 5+ years of experience with SQL. 5+ years of back-end testing experience in writing and executing SQL queries. 5+ years of experience testing in AWS Healthcare, Claims, Medicare Part D experience Ability to review, test and evaluate the work of others by participating in Peer Reviews. Knowledge of various software testing methods. Ability to quickly understand complex business logic, translate requirement changes into test scenarios, and perform system testing in a cloud-based system. Cloud testing ETL testing Backend database testing Jira Confluence TestRail Databricks Python Snowflake MicroStrategy Experience with automated testing and developing test scripts ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS: Excellent written and verbal communication. The likely salary range for this position is $73,600 - $110,400. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Scheduled Weekly Hours:
