IT Manager Position Summary : Under limited supervision of the Director of Product the IT Specialist oversees the operation of the technology infrastructure. This is a 100% remote / work-from-home position. Daytime / Dayshift availability is required.
IT Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide prompt and efficient technical support to Enable Dental's employees and contractors. Resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity within our mobile units, administrative offices, and remote workforce. Administer and maintain third-party systems essential to the organization's operations including but not limited to coordination tools, communication, etc.). Monitor software usage for potential threats and resolve areas of concern. Create and maintain clear concise documentation; participate in training employees on the systems and technologies their positions require. Familiar with SQL, Python, and Django to improve IT processes. Set up, configure, and maintain mobile IT equipment including but not limited to laptops, tablets, and diagnostic tools for the mobile dental teams. Apply strong troubleshooting skills; identify problems or errors and provide effective user-friendly solutions. Collaborate with the development team to improve and suggest solutions to enhance user efficiency and maintain system integrity. Proficient in computer hardware, software, networks, and common operating systems. Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users and demonstrate patience. Highly motivated with the ability to work independently while recognizing and resolving issues. Other duties as assigned. Education and or Experience: Bachelor's degree or similar experience in a relevant field, such as product management, business, or technology. 3+ years' experience in product management or IT support. Strong, data-driven analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience in a healthcare environment a plus. Experience with cloud-based technology. IT Manager Compensation and Benefits Package:
