WTI an accredited institution and the leader in technical "hands-on" training, is seeking a highly motivated Information Technology Instructor. We offer a variety of CompTIA and Microsoft Certification courses. Current courses include A+, Network +, & Security +. IT Instructor Essential Functions Plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus provided Supervise independent or group projects, laboratory work or other training Advise students on academic and vocational concerns Maintain knowledge of relevant student certification testing to ensure class activities support testing needs in addition to needs in the workplace Observe and evaluate students' work to determine progress, providing feedback and making suggestions for improvement when necessary IT Instructor Requirements Possess excellent interpersonal skills in the areas of collaboration, team participation, creative problem-solving, conflict resolution, group planning, and decision-making Strong written and oral communication skills Must be student-focused and work well without close supervision Bring a spirit of enthusiasm, energy, and multi-cultural awareness Have a moderate level of computer and technology skills CompTIA A+, Network +, and Security + Certification required 3+ years of IT-related industry experience required No previous teaching experience required! EEO Schedule: Mon-Thurs Split Schedule 10 hour days 7:50a to 12:50p & 5:30p to 10:30p No Fridays = 3-day Weekends!
