We are seeking a seasoned IT Field Service Technician II to join our technical support team. In this role, you will provide advanced on-site and remote technical assistance, ensuring our clients' IT systems operate smoothly and efficiently. This mid-level position requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused approach.
Responsibilities: Provide advanced on-site and remote technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues. Install, configure, and troubleshoot complex computer systems, servers, and other IT equipment. Perform system upgrades, updates, and routine maintenance to optimize performance. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues promptly to minimize downtime. Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure. Ensure all support requests are logged, tracked, and resolved within SLA guidelines. Mentor and provide guidance to junior technicians and support staff. Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, issues, and solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve intricate technical challenges. Qualifications: Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or related role. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or equivalent are highly desirable. In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking principles. Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical issues. Strong customer service and communication skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on-site visits. Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs. Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed. Benefits:
