Candidates need to be able to demonstrate understanding & competency in statistics & analytics. Candidates need also be highly proficient in excel and other office software. Experience with PowerBI is not required but is highly preferred. This position will have a large amount of autonomy, but will require attention to detail, focus, and the ability to research.
Learn to develop queries using report-building software and AFCU's data warehouse. Design dashboards for management, using PowerBI as well as other data-visualization software. Develop models for understanding member-behavior and deploy such models to assist with target-marketing campaigns. Develop data models/visualizations/reports that provide insight to support operations & finance functions. Demonstrate understanding & competency in statistics & analytics. Perform other duties as required or assigned. Read all internal publications including HUB and Possibilities. Enrolled in Junior or Senior year of college preferred Strong experience in data design and analysis - relational, object and document models. Strong experience utilizing SQL. Experience with building data pipelines to cleanse and augment data sets using programming languages/frameworks e.g., Python, R, Azure tools. Experience with combining data sets from files, APIs, applications, public information to build business insights. Ability to work with data to build reports and visualizations using Power BI or similar. Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Good relationship management & interpersonal skills. Outside the box thinking to research and identify new ways of implementing solutions. Adequate technical, organizational and process skills. Good verbal and written communications skills, ability to document/present to various levels or management. Results orientation with attention to detail and quality of deliverables.
