Job Title: IT Business Consultant
Description:
Experience with building the EPIC EMR system (not training or end-user) is mandatory. Additionally, IT build experience with hospital outpatient scheduling and registration is essential. Epic certifications in Cadence, Grand Central, Prelude, or Resolute Professional Billing are highly preferred and will prioritize candidates.
The position requires 40 hours per week and is not remote; it is a hybrid position. Initially, the Consultant will need to be onsite for 24-40 hours per week. After implementation and go-live events, this is expected to decrease to about 16 hours per week. The position also entails on-call responsibilities, but the Consultant would support remotely.
A minimum of an associate degree in computer science, management, or an IT-related discipline, or equivalent experience is required. Appropriate certifications, including Epic or other applications, must be completed. Candidates must have at least two years of project management experience in systems analysis, system design, computer system project management, and/or healthcare application design, build, and implementation. Experience with large enterprise system projects and supporting and maintaining large, complex information system software is also necessary.
