IT ASSISTANT Location Albuquerque, NM : Department: IT - Data Systems FTE: 1.00 Full Time Shift: Days
Position Summary: Provide IT support in the assigned area(s); perform a variety of highly responsible and complex administrative support functions relative to the assigned area(s) of responsibility. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. No patient care assignment.
Detailed responsibilities: DEVELOPMENT - Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, reading current literature, attending in-services, meetings and workshops RELATED WORK - Perform related duties and responsibilities as required PROGRAM ADMIN - Coordinate and maintain special programs to include enrollment information and deductions; review and research errors and information to ensure accuracy; prepare reports and correspondence as required COORDINATION - Coordinate, oversee, and/or assist with various meetings, task forces, events and projects CORRESPONDENCE - Compose and distribute correspondence, memorandums, and reports of a technical or confidential nature CONTACTS - Engage in a variety of contacts outside the department and the Hospitals in order to obtain information and arrange meetings INFORMATION - Provide assistance and information to internal and external customers; receive, screen and route incoming calls or complex/sensitive issues to appropriate personnel; maintain and ensure confidentiality of information INVOICES - Prepare invoices for payment, prepare Purchase Requisitions to create Master Purchase Orders and Purchase Orders, monitor expenses for adherence to budget, advise manager of issues ADMINISTRATION - Perform routine payroll and personnel functions ADMIN SUPPORT - Provide administrative support to managers and staff; maintain and coordinate calendars/meetings; prepare correspondence, memoranda, and documentation; take, transcribe and type minutes; disseminate information as appropriate ADMINISTRATION - Attend meetings and serve as recording secretary; transcribe, type and distribute information to appropriate staff as necessary Qualifications Related Education and Experience may be substituted for one another on a year for year basis.
