• Direct and manage the Iowa Flood Center team• Expand research portfolio, outreach, and communications programs• Build scientific and societal impact• Serve as a faculty member in the College of Engineering• Hold an academic appointment in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering• Begin the position in August 2024
Requirements
• Experience in flood research• Leadership and administrative skills• Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering or related field• Associate professor or professor rank with tenure• Ability to contribute to the College of Engineering's Strategic Hiring Initiative• Strong research, teaching, and mentoring capabilities
