The Investment Analyst will assist the Investments team in managing the $3 billion portfolio, invested primarily with public equity managers, private equity (buyout and venture capital) managers, and hedge fund managers. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Analyst will play an important role in advancing the Foundation's mission by helping to manage the Foundation's investment portfolio.
Specific Responsibilities Include: 
Prepare and build reports on the total portfolio and individual managers within the Foundation's investment analytic platforms (Caissa and eVestment) and use of excel APIs. Actively participate in investment manager meetings, including the compilation of pre-meeting materials and the composition of timely, accurate and comprehensive post-meeting notes.Help with annual department procedures, including financial statement analysis and reporting on any management changes within the portfolio.Assess the potential risk and reward of individual investment strategies and use statistical techniques to determine expectations for the overall portfolio. Research market trends and opportunities such as the increase in private credit funds, active vs. passive management, the impact of fund size on performance. Manage aspects of portfolio operations, such as helping with portfolio rebalancing, and cash flow movements. Serve as a representative of the Foundation throughout the investment community by participating in peer networking events, attending industry conferences, and investment manager annual meetings.Pursue the Chartered Financial Analyst credential by studying for and taking the exam.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred but would consider an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates possession of economics or business management competencies.
Work Experience: At least one year of work experience in a business environment preferred.
Travel: This position may require occasional business travel.
QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified incumbents for this position must be highly motivated, capable of self-direction and able to work collaboratively in a team.  Incumbents must exhibit a keen sense of responsibility and enjoy working with multiple demands, shifting priorities, and constant change.
 Possesses an intense intellectual curiosity and eagerness to pitch in on a wide range of assignments. Is familiar with financial markets and investment portfolio strategy. Enjoys thinking broadly about the historical, sociological, and political forces that affect the economy and markets.
