Job Description Title: Inventory Technician
Reports To : Inventory Supervisor
Position Summary: Job Description/Expectations: Assist in keeping and maintaining records of all stock and materials in the organization including heat numbers, part numbers and any other document sensitive information. Assist in counting quantity of all incoming shipments & deliveries. Assist in identifying information such as: part numbers, heat numbers, and Purchase orders on all incoming shipments and deliveries. Place tags and labels on inventory stock and/or shelves. Prepare reports of inventory balances and shortages for accurate cycle counts and analysis. Coordinate and communicate with FHE team members and with other departments within the Company. Pull stock for production, expendable sales orders, and inventory transfers as/when needed. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Assist with inventory cycle counts Complete required paperwork and other requisitions such as sales orders, stock transfers and order forms. Wear proper PPE, comply with FHE safe work practices, OSHA standards, and procedures sited in FHE's Health and Safety manual. Conduct oneself in a professional manner that represents a positive image of FHE.
Must attend work as established by employer without excessive absenteeism.

Environmental Conditions and Work Environment: Exposure to certain contaminants, at times.
Exposure to loud noise levels, at times.
This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday.
This role may, at times, use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters, etc.
Tools and Equipment Used: May be required to operate forklift to maneuver parts at times, operate overhead crane, sanders, various tools, grinders, generators, wrenches, common hand, and power tools.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This position requires use of your hands, considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, pushing, pulling, repetitive motions, coordination, and dexterity, sitting, walking, stooping and handling materials.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50-75 pounds or more without physical restrictions.
Employees are regularly required to sit for long periods of time.
The use of safety equipment such as safety glasses, steel-toed shoes/boots, gloves, hard hats, and hearing protection daily.
