About the job Manages Inventory Control personnel and work processes and projects within the Warehouse. Coordinates material obsolescence handling and prevention. Plans, establishes, implements, and maintains a quality assurance program to ensure the highest possible degree of quality assurance for our internal and external customers. Provides routine reporting.
Your tasks ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES • Developing, implementing, and maintaining new and/or established inventory control processes, procedures, and work methods in accordance with industry standards, department and company objectives, and policies and requirements • Managing and coordinating regular cycle counts and cycle counters • Coordinating material obsolescence handling and prevention with other departments • Maintaining communication and coordinating with the appropriate person(s) and/or department(s) to continuously improve inventory accuracy and maintain awareness of current activities and issues • Managing, preparing, and conducting physical inventories • Compiling KPI's on operational performance and Warehouse productivity • Working to improve operational performance by managing the slotting of parts in the Warehouse • Developing, implementing, and maintaining new and/or established quality assurance processes, procedures, and work methods in accordance with industry standards, department and company objectives, and policies and requirements • Maintaining quality assurance records • Taking corrective action as required in maintaining the above • Coordinates, with Human Resources, all aspects of employee relations including but not limited to, employee interviewing, hiring, coaching, counseling, disciplinary action, complaints, scheduling, training and development, etc.
