The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for the inventory of our largest location. The job will entail coordinating with The Parts Manager and other locations for inventory purchases. Duties include: file maintenance, invoice verification, all parts orders, outside purchases, daily sales invoicing, error messages. DCN messages, understand ordering procedures, management of inventory for marketing programs, all returns, and system information accuracy. Core reconciliation.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following, and other duties may be assigned as needed.Generate and evaluate parts orders, emergency stock and direct ship, and tracks shipmentsAdd new parts to the systemHandle inventory returnsComplete cycle countsProper stocking criteria for the desired level of customer serviceTiming and accuracy of inventory management reportsEstablish best level of inventory for customer serviceAssist in annual inventory, bin checks, surplus / returns, and backorder verificationAssist shipping clerks as needed for the timely receipt of productControl of purchase orderRecommends order generation criteriaControl of return shipments and their freight expenseKnowledgeable of inventory system, business systems, vendor sales programs, and an administratorQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
