Inventory Control Auditor

Performs functions to coordinate and control all activities required for maintaining an accurate inventory of
raw materials and components. This would include the posting of all ERP transactions in a timely manner.
Coordination with various departments to ensure materials are physically received for production and
systematically transferred in a timely manner is required. Investigating inventory discrepancies and
developing solutions to address the causes for the discrepancies is expected. Maintain and follow Current
Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to produce a product
of required quality within the time-frame?of customer requirements.

• Assist in managing the cycle count program at IVP via the following duties: Select and
distributes?count sheets, perform cycle counts as needed, reconcile the counts, and prepare
reports, perform root cause analysis.
• Investigate inconsistencies with inventory procedures and bring those results to the
attention of appropriate personnel.
• Ensure proper and physical disposal of aged, obsolete, and rejected product per industry
standards
• Process adjustments?transactions when necessary and recommend process
improvements
• Ensure all policies and procedures are appropriately followed
• Provide for ongoing training and development of associates
• Communicate inventory results to inventory control supervisor
• Other duties as assigned
• Assist with annual audit
• Assist in preparing report
High School Diploma or GED (college degree a plus)
• 2 years experience?in cycle counting and inventory control practices
• Prior successes with investigating, analyzing and solving discrepancies in a
warehouse/manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in Word and excel
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to instruct others in corrective methods and error prevention
• Forklift/order picker driving experience; reach lift truck, sit-down forklift, electric pallet
jack
• Physical activities required; sitting, standing, grasping, lifting, keyboarding
• History of good attendance is required with dependability and responsibility
• Overtime as required (including weekends)
