Intervention Resource Teacher

Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is to provide instructional resource services at the middle (7/8) school level, primarily in Math. In collaboration with the school principal, assistant principal, lead teacher, and/or classroom teacher, the Intervention Resource Teacher will plan the instruction and work with individual, small groups and/or whole classes of students in providing direct instruction. Students identified may or may not be remediation students depending upon the need of support in a particular classroom. The IRT would also collaborate with the classroom teacher in gathering data and using the data to adjust and monitor instruction for the identified students. Qualifications: Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Current Virginia teacher license preferred. Experience as a teacher required. Possess strong communication skills and exceptional interpersonal skills. Able to use instructional technology tools in the classroom. Ability to work with others and willing to take direction and be flexible. Salary: (Non-Contract Pay) IRT - $25.00 per hour Location:
