ROLE DESCRIPTION Are you looking for an internship in Virginia starting in July 2024 ?
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Satellite Engineering team in a fast-paced,
growing organization within a dynamic industry.
Based in Manassas, VA, USA, you will contribute to gather, sort, plot, and trend manufacturer
ground test data for our GEO satellites.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work together with the Satellite Engineering team in trend manufacturer ground test data
• Assist in developing data-driven tools
• Improve and update Payload Engineering databases (and dashboards if necessary)
YOUR PROFILE 1.You must have
• Current student in Data Science, Engineering (Electrical, Aerospace, Software),
Mathematics or similar areas of focus
• Very strong computer literacy (Python, Excel VBA, MATLAB, MS Office)
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Able to work in USA (USA citizenship or valid work permit, ITAR clearance)
2. It would be nice if you had
• Knowledge of trending big data sets in different formats from multiple locations in Python
and Excel, plots, and efficient interface with users
• Strong interest in the data science and satellite communications
• Additional coding and spoken languages considered as assets
