Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Corporate Supplier Quality Intern.The rate for this position is $6,300 per month.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you'll do:DescriptionThe principal role of the Intern Engineer is to build a predictive model which will give early warning signals to Eaton for potential supplier quality defect, which Eaton can act upon before the product gets manufactured at supplier location and shipped to Eaton.Job Responsibilities1. Build Power App to evaluate suppliers on site as well as capture on-going self-assessment feedback1. Evaluate ~ 50 pilot suppliers utilizing Eaton defined initial assessment.2. Utilize supplier assessment results to build predictive model.3. Test model for validity of impactful parameters4. Modify model to refine model predictability of quality risk5. Build roll out plan to scale at enterprise levelQualifications:Basic Qualifications• Actively enrolled in Master of Science in Industrial Engineering (Professional Master's Program-PMP).• Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8.• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship now and in the future.Preferred Qualifications• Familiarity with statistical analysis skills, such as regression analysis which will be used to understand the relationships between a dependent variable (often called the 'outcome' or 'response' variable, or a 'label' in machine learning parlance) and one or more independent variables (often called 'predictors', 'covariates', 'explanatory variables' or 'features').• Familiarity with Power App Development.Skills:Good communication skills - Must speak and write English fluently.Good collaboration skill.Ability to engage with a variety of cross-functional team members.Flexible attitude to work with the willingness to learn new skills when required.Self-directing and self-motivating.We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
