Details of the offer

The Spring 2024 Internship and Career Fair with Kenosha area colleges takes place from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, at Carthage's TARC Field House!
Students can register on Handshake.
Over 80 employers are recruiting for a variety of internships and full-time post-graduation jobs and are excited to meet with students in person! New this year at the fair, students can also meet with representatives from local graduate schools.
This fair is open to students from Carthage, UW-Parkside, Gateway Technical College, Herzing University, and colleges in the Higher Educational Regional Alliance, HERA.
Do your students need help finding a job or internship? Send them our way!Step 1 — Have them start building their My Aspire Plan (MAP) by working on the . This walks students through the steps on not only how to find opportunities, but to do it strategically to actually land that future opportunity!
Step 2 — Get them to create an updated profile on Handshake (Carthage's job and internship posting website) so that employers can find them. Handshake is different from other job sites in that the postings are geared to the skill levels of college students and recent graduates. Employers and postings have also been vetted to ensure credibility.
Step 3 — Encourage them to swing by The Aspire Center on the 4th floor of Lentz Hall. Each student is connected with a career specialist, and we can help students start from square one!
Contact The Aspire Center at with any questions.
Experiential Learning FundingCarthage offers financial support for students with low or unpaid internships. The Aspire Center strongly encourages and supports students who pursue experiential learning opportunities to broaden their skills, gain experience, and expand their network. We also recognize that sometimes, those experiences come at a cost. If your student is participating in an experiential learning opportunity this semester, such as an internship or research project, but are hesitant due to financial restrictions, we may be able to help.
To apply for experiential learning funding, students must fill out an application form. Priority goes to unpaid internships that have costs associated with them. All majors and class year cohorts are encouraged to apply. If you have any questions, please contact The Aspire Center at .
