Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Produce clear, concise, and engaging written and visual content for various internal communication channels to share key Company messages, priorities, and announcements Develop a wide range of leadership communications including companywide updates, talk tracks, quarterly town halls, executive presentations, PSAs and other ad hoc internal messaging Capture the voice of the brand and company leadership and adeptly communicate on a wide range of concepts including change management in a direct and compelling way Develop intake processes and serve as cross-company liaison to effectively gather pertinent information from cross-functional leaders to populate ongoing communications Identify positive storytelling opportunities that inform and engage Team Members surrounding Company culture, Executive Leadership, Maverik's Adventure brand and business Proactively build trust and maintain solid, cross-functional relationships with key organizational stakeholders to work together to ensure all internal communication is easily understood, consistent, and aligned with the Company's goals and values Coordinate the distribution of content across internal channels Oversee the internal editorial calendar and identify KPIs to measure engagement, developing strategies to evolve internal communications flows, subject matter, and cadence Stay current with communication tools and technologies, recommending and implementing new solutions to enhance internal communication efficiency Help evolve company-wide messaging consistency through standardizing templates and filing approved copy for internal reference Qualifications: Education Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field, highly preferred Qualifications: Experience (Add number of years of experience and type of experiences required for role)
3+ years of recent professional communications experience Proven track record of supporting complex, fast-moving, and unexpected communications challenges Experience creating engaging, brand focused written content Superior writing and editing skills with ability to draft a heavy amount of content positioned for multiple different audiences with an ability to anticipate potential risk in messaging Capacity to assess situations quickly and respond appropriately, while adjusting swiftly to changing priorities Ability to thrive surrounding fast-moving and complex topics Proficiency in Monday.com project management software a plus Qualifications: Team Member Competencies Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills Practice operating independently without the need for continuous oversight or direction Proven ability to effectively prioritize and balance competing needs A history of taking the initiative to identify and solve work-related problems Experience in exercising initiative and sound judgment in decision-making Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.
