Job Purpose This summer internship at Dana Incorporated, Paris, TN will provide insight into the manufacturing process for the Tier 1 automotive manufacturing industry to the right candidate.
Job Duties and Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support all communications and contacts with appropriate discipline concerning all processing issues (Product Design, Sales, Tool Shop, Production Plant, and Robotics) with guidance from supporting engineer
• Support molding and assembly of all prototypes
• Learn process for troubleshooting Thermoplastic and Thermoset molding to resolve problems
• Prepare reports on material processing, tooling problems, assembly problems, etc..
• SPC data collection and analysis
• Support the Dana Operating System (DOS)
Education and/or Experience:
• Currently enrolled in bachelor's degree in engineering
Requirements:
• Must be flexible about hours worked
• Must be able to stand and walk for 8-12 hours
• Willingness to attend training classes as needed/available
• Regular attendance is mandatory and must be on time for work
• Must practice good housekeeping
