In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally assisting localization for multiple projects. Responsibilities include assembling project requirements, crafting, and leading pre-translation and localization activities.What you'll do:Assist Localization team with projects and dutiesPrepare files to be translated in RWS WorldServer and deliver them to internal clients after translation is completedHandle localization files and projects, driving timely delivery and high qualityMaintain translation memories and terminology databasesMonitor and support localization projects, and report on progressActively participate in meetings and discussionsUpdate on schedule and project issues and collaborate on product performanceWhat you'll bring:Currently enrolled in an accredited, degree-seeking program majoring in Localization, Foreign Language, Linguistics, Translation and Interpretation, Cultural Studies or related degree with at least one quarter or semester left afterAugust 2024.Available to work full-time hours for 10 weeks, remotely.Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.Knowledge of Translation and Localization processes and tools.Ability to run projects throughout the entire lifecycle.Experience with RWS WorldServer.Knowledge of computer languages, scripting, and markup languages.Creative solutions to project challenges.Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.Extraordinary ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.Interest in the game or entertainment industry.Nice to Have:Knowledge of terminology managementKnowledge of a second language preferredMagic: the Gathering player preferredWe are an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action EmployerThe above is intended to describe the general content of and the requirements for satisfactory performance in this position.
