Employer matched Retirement Savings with free financial planning *** A commitment to growing our leaders with leadership & mentorship programs available Key: *** = Full Time & Part Time Regular Staff Only As an Interiorscape Event Stylist, you will carry out our Mission of Love by executing plans, projects for all greenhouse, floriculture and event-styling operations on campus and periodic off-campus events. Managing and maintaining multiple areas throughout campus including, but not limited to, the greenhouses, all interior plantscapes, courtyards (both interior/exterior) and numerous event halls, lobbies, restaurants, meeting rooms, etc. Our Interiorscape Event Stylist is responsible for the following: Assist in planning, coordinating, executing and maintaining floral arrangements, interiorscapes, event styling projects, and an extensive number of exterior planters, for interior and exterior locations, throughout the campus. Support of and communicates interdepartmentally regarding on and off-campus event needs, special customer requests, and routine maintenance of campus beautification elements. Tasks include preparation, distribution, watering and general care of interior and exterior planters, arrangements, and event-related materials. Demonstrate the ability to understand and apply basic floral design, horticultural practices, and general best management practices. Possess the ability to design and implement projects to a specified unified theme, within budget allowances. Responsible for understanding the proper use and handling of pesticides to include quantifying chemical mixtures, ratios, rates, application processes. Fertilizes lawns and plants and apply any herbicides or pesticides to keep the foliage healthy and thriving. Maintains accurate records of pesticide, fertilizer, and soil amendment applications. Performs all aspects of snow operations on campus by plowing, equipment operations, salting and shoveling during winter weather conditions including off hours call-in. Maintains work areas and vehicles in an orderly and clean manner, maintaining a safe workplace. Performs all tasks and operates all equipment in a safe manner as outlined in operating manuals. Ensures the proper care and use of tools, equipment and supplies and uses proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Completes computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) generated work orders and provides clear documentation of work as required. Generates work orders for additional work or tasks identified in the field and completes or submits them as appropriate and maintains an accurate record of time for cost distribution and payroll. What You Have: A high school graduate or equivalent. A valid Pa. Driver's License. Minimum of two-year training in floriculture or related horticultural field, either technical or on-the-job is desirable. Ability to acquire a PA state pesticide applicator's certification. Good written, oral, organizational, and basic computer skills. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
