Interior Designer

Position overview: The Interior Designer will be responsible for designing innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing interior environments for a variety of higher education/public sector projects. The Interior Designer will collaborate with key stakeholders to understand project objectives, interpret design directions, and produce creative solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop design concepts for a range of interior environments. Provide design solutions that are aesthetically pleasing and technically accurate. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project objectives and interpret design directions. Manage projects from concept to completion. Create scalable drawings using CAD software such as Revit and Sketchup. Research and select furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE) that meet project requirements and budget. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Provide guidance and support to junior design staff. Qualifications: Higher Education Degree in Interior Design or related field. Excellent knowledge of CAD software such as Revit and Sketchup. Knowledge of commercial, public sector, and residential design. Knowledge of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE) selection.
