If you're interested in an exciting opportunity to become a top-notch insurance sales representative please apply today!Responsibilities:Serve as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients in order to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance salesStay abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clientsImplement marketing strategies including, but not limited, to cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients while simultaneously maintaining a portfolio of current clientsTake ownership of ensuring there are accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports in order to track and communicate the status of assigned goalsDevelop risk management strategies for each customer to ensure his or her policy needs are continuously metWillingness to create lasting relationships within your local communityQualifications:High school diploma necessary; college degree a bonusBasic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is requiredWillingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholdersValid insurance license required or candidates must be willing to get licensedBasic understanding of sales lead or accounting software is helpfulMust be a good communicator and be able to explain complex insurance programs to the customerAbout Company:On May 1, 1947, a group of Idaho farmers and ranchers founded Idaho Farm Insurance Company that later became Farm Bureau Insurance Company of Idaho.
