Instrumentation and Controls Engineer Summary: Join our team as an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, where you'll spearhead the development, implementation, and troubleshooting of control systems for water treatment equipment.
Responsibilities: Utilize design documents to commission and troubleshoot control systems. Develop and/or redline P&IDs, electrical drawings, and control documents. Interface with customers regarding I&C designs and solutions. Assess client problems and determine appropriate solutions. Perform control system factory acceptance tests with clients. Collaborate cross-functionally between engineering and service teams. Setup and troubleshoot Ethernet-based networks for remote monitoring and support. Perform other assigned duties. Skills/Experience Required: Degree in Engineering or 5+ years' experience in designing and commissioning instrumentation and control equipment. Experience commissioning DCS, PLC, or SCADA Control Systems. Willingness to travel up to 75%, including international trips. Ability to work at remote construction sites and lift 30 lbs. 3 years of automation programming experience preferred. Familiarity with fieldbus networks and water treatment systems. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and meet customer site requirements.
