The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for teaching, a solid grasp of modern development practices, and expertise in related technical fields.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
Five years of experience in teaching adult learners, preferably in a similar training or boot camp environment.
Three or more years of professional software experience, including at least one year in full-stack software engineering.
Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and frameworks like React.
Experience in feature development, testing, and optimization.
Familiarity with Agile development processes.
Availability to work evenings and Saturdays.
Preferred Qualifications
Veteran status preferred (honorable discharge).
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate on curriculum and content development.
Implement effective teaching strategies tailored to adult learners, leveraging technology and industry insights.
Maintain regular communication with students to track progress, celebrate achievements, and address concerns.
Provide personalized support to students during class sessions and office hours.
Continuously improve content and curriculum based on feedback.
Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
