Job summary
The Department of Occupational Safety and Health at Murray State University is seeking a full-time, non-tenure track InstructorThe responsibilities include teaching and advising students in the occupational safety and health programCandidates with real-world experience in occupational safety and health will be preferred
Job seniority: associate level
Responsibilities
• Teaching undergraduate level coursework in and related to occupational safety and health• Advising students in the occupational safety and health program• Recruitment of students• University service• Scholarship/research• Curriculum development• Interaction with local industry
Requirements
• Master of Science Degree from an ABET accredited occupational safety and health program• Qualified to teach undergraduate level coursework in and related to occupational safety and health• Significant industrial training experience• Experience with safety and health program development• Good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
