Job summary
Part-time, non-benefited, FLSA exempt position in the Health Sciences DivisionReports to the Program Director of Emergency Medical ServicesSalary: $26/hr.

Responsibilities
• Prepare lesson plans for classroom, lab, or clinical instruction• Implement program curriculum to meet state, national, and/or accreditation standards• Teach face-to-face, hybrid, and online classes• Evaluate students' progress in attaining goals and objectives• Maintain supplies and equipment• Prepare and maintain required documentation and administrative reports• Attend staff development training and workshops• Ensure safety and security requirements are met in the training area• Meet with students, staff members, and other educators to discuss instructional programs• Assist with recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts
Requirements
• Associate degree in emergency services or related field• Two years' full-time experience as a paramedic• Current State of GA Paramedic license or NREMT Paramedic• Current Georgia EMS Instructor Coordinator - AEMT or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire• BLS, ACLS provider certification• Credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies
Key Skills Needed
• Excellent interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills• Computer literate with ability to use common software programs• Experience with online learning modalities preferred• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a collegial and multicultural environment
