Citi continues to enhance its business control and governance framework by building out Institutional Credit Management (ICM), to house and consistently manage credit risk activities performed across its Institutional Client Group organization. ICM's objective is to provide integrated "end-to-end" credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management, and monitoring for wholesale credit risk across the enterprise. Within ICM, the Credit Underwriting function (ICM-UW) provides analysis, greenlight, underwriting,first-line-of-defensecredit approval and subsequent credit monitoring across all ICG wholesale credit businesses including Banking, Capital Markets, and Advisory (BCMA), Global Structured Products, Financings, and Securitizations (GSP-F&S), Treasury & Trade Services (TTS), Markets, and Securities Services (MSS).This role will be part of the ICM-UW Business Strategy team driving the insights, analytics and MIS to deliver to the organization globally while working with other ICM technology and product teams to ensure ICM-UWs analytics and reporting needs are adopted in the Target Operating Model for Wholesale Lending Credit Risk. The Sr. Business Risk Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Excellent communication skills are required.
