What you'll be doing This role is a support position within the Branch to assist with a variety of solar project, office, and operational tasks. The Installation Coordinator is responsible for the customer communication and project organization starting from handoff from the support team to completion of installation. A successful Installation Coordinator will enable a great customer experience and crew productivity based on effective schedule management
You will be responsible for... Be customer obsessed Manage project from scheduling of the installation through building permit signoff by the local AHJ Diligently work to fill the construction schedule Communicate with branch-based team through both physical and digital scheduling tools Support maximum resource utilization by limiting inefficient or volatile schedules Schedule projects within predetermined timelines Ensure project management tools such as Workflow Management stay accurate and up to date Coordinate other trades, and utility as needed, in conjunction with the solar installation Basic understanding of utility, permitting & other external lead times Ensure major material components are in stock, delegate actions to team as necessary to meet objectives Escalate projects with challenges to Branch Manager for resolution when necessary Maintain great working relationships with Denver project planning team and other cross functional teams as needed Work with build partners (as needed) to ensure flawless handoff and execution Construction folder creation including creation of the construction briefing document for crews Review projects missing sign-offs and inspections and ensure these are addressed What we need from you High school diploma or equivalent education Bachelor's degree preferred Problem solver to ensure optimized construction scheduling. This position requires risk analysis, critical thinking and the ability to provide solutions to the benefit of the company and project. The Installation Coordinator's ultimate vehicle for success is communication with all parties throughout the project process. Project scheduling and customer interface are the primary duties. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good people skills Motivated team player, looking to succeed. Have computer knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook. Detail-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment; A background in customer service with understanding of scheduling techniques.
