Description: Inside Sales Specialists respond to telephone, email and text inquiries from consumers interested in purchasing home, auto and umbrella insurance from Plymouth Rock. Inside Sales Specialists also reach outreach out to our existing and prospective customer base for cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, maintain effective customer relations, implement sales referral programs, and support our customer retention programs. Successful Inside Sales Specialist candidates will demonstrate a competitive spirit, positive attitude, and desire to grow with us. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Respond to incoming calls from consumers who are looking to buy personal lines insurance and respond to advertising, direct marketing, or seeking assistance in completing an on-line quote. Engage in proactive outbound sales campaigns to quote and bind personal lines insurance coverage for Plymouth Rock and its affiliate companies. Send email, postcards and letters or information about our insurance products to consumers who expressed interest in our products. Track sales conversations and results in Salesforce and other software. Identify and create successful sales techniques and responses to objections and request additional sales tools or support as needed. Train other sales representatives. Education and Experience: Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills. Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Experience using chat, phone, text, and email communications. Ability to define and relate appropriate products to the specific needs of customers. A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university is a plus. Prior insurance sales experience would be helpful. Property and Casualty Insurance producer licenses are a plus (in the following states – Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania).
