IDC is seeking for an Inside Sales Account Executive  to join our Inside Sales organization in Tampa, FL . The initial focus of the Inside Sales Account Executives will be to accelerate IDC's current successful business with Tech Disruptors. The Inside Sales AEs are responsible for selling an enhanced and tailored product and solution set geared to the needs of start-up and Emerging Technology Vendors. This product leverages IDC's detailed research and data across technology markets, vendors, buyers, and world-class Go-To-Market platforms. This role will report to the Director, Inside Sales, and is quota-carrying.
The Inside Sales Account Executives will become experts in the products and services IDC offers to Tech Disruptors. They will have a comprehensive understanding of how the products and services fit into the fabric of the emerging technology vendors and VC firms in which IDC's customers operate.

Generate revenue in new sales of IDC's Products to emerging technology vendors. Develop an in-depth knowledge of IDC's Products, as well as build strong relationships with individuals across IDC as a member of a collaborative team. Prospect for incremental opportunities, follow up on proposal generation, respond to client requests for information and/or problems, and continue to enhance the client value proposition. Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails. Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales team members for further development and closure. Manage and oversee all renewal processes. Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, in business or marketing disciplines are preferred. 1 – 2 years of quota-carrying experience in inside sales experience, with proven experience in closing sales with prospects and clients. Previous B2B technology sales experience is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills. Ability to build relationships and navigate organizations to identify key decision-makers. Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. Capable of solving problems and making decisions quickly. CRM/Salesforce experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Minimum domestic travel (0-5%) At IDG, Inc., we are committed to fair and equitable pay practices. Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. This process considers the experience, education, certifications, and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated employees, as well as employer-verified US region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner. The expected total compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $50,000 and $70,000 and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation (if applicable).
